The System Fee is determined by a proprietary formula that accounts for the operational cost of processing each transaction through the platform. The fee may vary between transactions based on a range of factors including transaction value, service type and processing requirements.

This is not a card payment surcharge
A card payment surcharge is a fee applied to recover the cost of accepting a specific payment method. The System Fee is a platform operating fee. It is not imposed in connection with the use of any particular payment method and is not a surcharge within the meaning of the RBA's Standards or the Competition and Consumer Act.
